Hi, I'm looking for a bit of advice, I have just purchased another caravan which has Reich Move Control fitted, the chap I bought it off couldn't get it to work when I went to collect but assured me it was working last year before it went into storage, however I have managed to get it working after synchronising the remote to the E box and giving the battery which is 110 a good charge, it did squeak and groan at first and seemed to work fine but for some unknown reason it just stops even though the battery level seems ok, after a while it will work again..... Does it need a service.?...... your thought would be appreciated.

Perhaps its the cut off cutting out and then resetting which suggests a fault somewhere. I would give Reich UK a ring, I always found them very helpful.
That's what I'm thinking, he told me it was new last year, it certainly looks brand new..... or could it be the caravan charger not charging properly ?

Do you have a wire connection as back up ? if so does it still do the same thing. I had a similar problem but it was me not using the hand set correctly.
I have stood right next to the battery box and its worked and I have had it working on opposite side, it seems to spin on full power on forward but if i stop it and try reverse it can be very slow and juddery and then it picks up again and then just stops, after 10 mins or so It will fire up again.....the mind boggles lol

Apart from the battery condition, oxidation of the motor terminals (disconnect, clean up, and reconnect them) or wear of the motor brushes could be an explanation. Although if it is fairly new it's unlikely that the brushes will be worn.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Reich service is brilliant! I had the board go whilst in France and they sent a replacement by courier- excellent! Also, the remote control of our new one had been re-designed so that it was not accidentally turned on when stored and so draining the remote's batteries.
Yes it was an easy fix and luckily didn't turn out to be too expensive to sort out, I can now get the caravan out, it works a treat, don't know how it compares to other makes over but I can't fault the product or the service.... and Reich are right on my doorstep... happy days
