We have the Kampa Rally 260 and its fine it doesnt leak and the pole create a tight seal round the van
We have found however that condensation is an awful problem and due to this we have changed to a different porch awning ------------- hello

I bought the rally air 390, delighted with the awning but found the poles pretty useless. They were not that rigid and flexed in the middle. Bobs babes, maybe you could give me a tip or two on how to make them work properly, would be delighted if I was wrong about them!------------- If a Jobs worth doing!

Bobs babes, they are metal also but are made up of three or four of those sections that pull apart with springs attached and there is lots of movement in those joints, also has the section for tensioning which has a little screw which you tighten with your hand. Maybe I just didn't get it right but just thought they appeared more flimsy than I thought they would be.

Ok, with the air awning, no poles are provided but two poles are available as an accessory and are as I described for pressing against the foam padding for the tight fit, only erected the thing once so maybe get it better the next time, just thought there was a bit to much flex in the joints to really get a tight fit given the length from top to bottom. Thanks for your replies.

The accessory poles are metal, just a bit bendy in my opinion because of the 3/4 moveable joints.......
