Had a phone call to say the delivery of our new van will be a week later than previously agreed, so many phone calls to rearrange campsite bookings and insurance and lots of disappointment having to wait another week! They have agreed to pay for our campsite though now.

There seems to be a lot of new people taking up caravanning but very few threads on DA camping. Let me explain, if you belong to the caravan&camping club on your membership card you will be registered to a local DA. these associations hold rallies and holiday meets on a regular basis to which you are most welcome to join anywhere in the country some are held on caravansites some in a farmers field. I belong to the Coventry DA and have attended their rallies and have had some fantastic w/ends and holidays with them and met so many friends over the years.Not only that the price is very good value for money most weekend meets are £8.00 per night .Hope people can expand on this thread as we need to get more people out on the field.
