Congratulations! We pick our new van up on Thursday, weather permitting! I feel like a child waiting for Christmas and trying to be "good" so that I get my new toy!!!!!

Where did you get it from? We are also Cambridgeshire and bought from Grantham Caravans. So far excellent service - we phoned 5 times last Friday as we were arranging insurance and had to keep checking things......all done with very fast replies.

What made me laugh was that we spent a lot of money yet hadn't done any research, it really was an impulse buy at the NEC! We hadn't a clue about all the extras that were included in the price until we started phoning asking if they could supply us!!!!!! Hitch lock, wheel lock, EHU lead!

So good to hear the positive feedback about Grantham Caravans. Yes, we are getting a Lunar Clubman, swapping over from tenting. Our main holiday is to see our daughter and grandson in America, lovely as it is it doesn't feel like we've had a holiday! We want to be able to go away week-ends throughout the year and the tent just doesn't work that way. We have spent a fortune on week-end breaks throughout the winter so the initial outlay for van (and decent towcar) is justified.

We are staying at Woodland Waters for the week-end, courtesy of Grantham caravans, for a trial run. I am sitting surrounded by all our camping gear ready to pack tomorrow. I shall use what we have for now to evoke some lovely camping memories and marry them to our new adventure.
