Hi all,
We have ordered our first caravan the afore mentioned 302.

We have looked for accessories that we will need, but have some questions that you might be able to answer.

1. Awning, we only want a simple porch awning. So will the Kampa 200 cross the window, and is the 260 too wide? Or other suggestions of what you use.

2. Toilet, is there a separate flush tank, or does it flush from aquaroll?

3. Pump, inbuilt or submersible?

4. Tow hitch lock, 'van will have Winterhoff stabiliser, so what lock is recommended?

5. Insurance, do you get a better price is you have hitch lock and wheel clamp? Any other savings tips?

Thanks in advance.

PS. OH refers to van as Poppy Dog's Kennel!

Yes, the car is bigger than the 'van.

Thanks lynn and ray,

I was concerned about awning size as I want to be able to open window in 'van without it hitting the edge of awning, or a pole.
The caravan will be kept at home, so not sure how that affects insurance.

Thanks again!

We have the kampa rally 200 and used it for the first time over xmas for a few days, makes a great addition as there isn't a huge amount of space in the caravan. Only used the caravan in winter though so never needed to open the side window

Apart from the damp issue ! we have found the 302 to be great, easy to tow and a doddle to position (no motor movers needed here). Lovely and warm even down to minus 5 deg.

Enjoy

Thanks Johnnie,

Think we will have to wait until we get the 'van before I can order an awning.OH keeps saying "well we don't know how much room we will need."
We are not the type to sit inside watching a TV, indeed there won't be a TV.

I really am quite excited now...
