Just how effective is the toilet fluid as from what I can see it is a simple QAC with added perfumes and dye. My bio chemistry is not great but I always thought that QAC's were ineffective at killing Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli and Salmonella. A good toilet fluid should contain compounds that break down solid matter and prevent gassing and I don't think QAC's will do that.

I would think at £8 for non hazardous or £9.50 for hazardous chemicals shipping cost it is hardy worthwhile shopping with them unles you are local and can collect.
