Hi all, is their anybody out their could help us figure out whats gone wrong with the one side of motormover, at the week end went down to move caravan at this site to a different pitch. motormover hadent been used in a year, dont know wheather i was heavy handed or what but come to put one side of mover on, it engaged on wheel then their was a clinking noise and the wrench went loose, seems like somthing has jumped out of place, i had to pull driver off the wheel, now it dont engage at all on that side.

Hi

I had the same problem last year, and it turned out to be a broken spring pin - the pin goes through a collar on the motor, and through the spindle

(sorry not very good at describing things!)

If it is the same proble as I had - it takes about 5 minutes to sort out, and costs pennies

Try putting something like an allen key in place of the pin , and see if the mover locates properly - I actually put a nut and bolt through the shaft until I found the right size pin

Hope this helps?

I think they are roll pins if you can find out the diameter and approx length you may be able to pick one up from a motor acc/shop or factors.

Vectratot is right - They are roll pins, I bought a selection from our local agricultural engineers for a couple of pounds - and picked the right size from the selection !

Thanks
