Hi Andy, had a hard wired camera set up, ran a proper video lead from camera to the screen, using a connector in the boot to join the lead, but kept forgetting to undo every time i unhitched, causing lead damage, i have now gone wireless, with no problems, reciver in the back window of the car and sender front window of the caravan, max 3 metres, these wireless setups are rated to 50+ metres.

I dont know if connections through the hitch plug would work, because they are not "video quality"?

I'm going to try wiring it through the towbar electrics first to see how it goes because it would be the neatest way and, apparently, it should work. Failing that I'll have to go down the wireless route.
