How many back breaking hours would that take to erect? I also wonder how sturdy it would be against high winds? No thanks. Prefer to be old fashion.

You see plenty of these sort of awnings on seasonal caravans on the continent. I think they are just left up permanently. Some seem to be made to order by smaller local manufacturers.

i can see that they'd have their uses not so sure i'd want one though but not going to show my OH she'd have one in a second and we don't even have a seasonal pitch, am dreading our visit to the caravan show on the 19th

Oh dear,if my missus saw that we would be re mortgaging to try pay for it!
Got to admit I bet the awning is s bit special.
I would pay a profesional to put it up though, a local chap charges £75 to come and bob your awning up and clean it.
Quite worth while if you are seasonal

We have a seasonal pitch awning that fits our old caravan; it's up in the loft. (the awning, not the caravan!)

I don't think we'll ever get it to fit, no matter how hard we stretch it! Hub won't sell it, just in case...

But we don't even have a seasonal pitch any more.
