My awning looks like it needs resealng on the roof. However, I can't work out whether the sealant should be put on the inside or the outside of the roof.
Any help would be great.
Cheers

Your title is misleading. Don't know if you can change it.
Put it on the outside.

Thanks all. Outside it is.
Millermicm - I don't think I can change the title - a result of autocorrect, I'm afraid!

Fabsil made by Grangers, the best way ive found to seal it is putting it over a washing line on a dry day.Get one of those hand held spray bottles and after you have filled it..spray it on the awning in a way it looks wet.then move on and do another bit.------------- Animals have feelings..

Tried that and it still looks as though the surface is peeling off. Have been advised by a yachting company to use PVA diluted if necessary, painted on and left to dry. I've tried a sample on ordinary material and once dry it is still very flexible so hoping it will work. have thought off doing outside and once erected then doing inside. What do the experts think?

There was a thread here somewhere a long time ago about resealing trailer tents with Thompson's Water Seal. (NOT the Ultra variety)
