In our van there are 9 halogen bulbs ...to help with conserving battery power when not on EHU ..advice on here suggests going over led..am i getting the correct ones...the spec book says G4 12v 10w for downlighters and G4 12v 20w for small ceiling lights...now where is best place to get hhese...any advice will be welcome ..

the seller is good, most of my stuff is from them, yes its in hong kong, but so far I have had one lamp fail, and the replaced the pair free of charge.
he has the G4s for less than £2 wattage doesnt matter as much with LEDs, they can all be the same,
G4s he also has them in cool or warm white, warm white usually is slightly less light output, but is a more "normal" halogen colour, the pure white is a cooler bright white.
I have pure white for my main room lights, and the warms in the reading lamps
There's more info to add to this, but you might find this of use.
The bulbs are easy enough to replace, but do consider above post regarding 'cool' or 'warm' white etc., as the wrong choice could give quite a stark light.
I used LED Centre and also Lustrumlight via ebay for my lighting.
I replaced my two kitchen downlight G4 Halogen bulbs with two led side pin 24 led`s about three years agoI think they ecalle warm white. I got them from a British seller on Ebay for about a couple of £ each. They have had a lot of use as they are left on when required untill sleep time and so far have been OK [touch wood] if any of them failed I`d buy the same again.
well im either very thick...the g4 12v 10w led are to go into the downlighters..i need 6 of theese and need the pillar type (i think) the other G4 12v 20w are to go in the round ceiling lights and i think the circular ones will go in them ..... I followed timtheenchanters link and only the circular ones with the prongs out the side are there and to be honest im totally confused...what i need to order...as they are no good for the down lighters ...looks like its £6 a bulb for me

in each of our large round ceiling lights. These are bright white but our spotlights and a few other lights are warm white and we think the overall mix is good.
Oldham...thats what i need...im a woman ...i was looking at the wrong thing ...derrr...just need to find them now...the ceiling lights will need the side fiking discs ...(i think)...
