Assuming you have the water pipe submerged in the aquaroll and the water pump switched on then check under the front seats to see if the drain valve is open.Small yellow handle if pointing up means open to drain so close and try again.
The water does gurgle when trying the hot tap until it clears the air fom the tank.
It doesn't really matter which you do first but best to use the cold. The hot water will fill the hot water tank before it starts to come through the tap.
Is the pump plugged into the side of the van securely. Any signs of leakage at this point? Any sign of water running underneath the van?
Generally if the system is empty you put the pump in the tank and turn open a tap, the first thing that then fills is the hot water tank so that takes a short time, once the hot water tank is full then you will find that whichever tap you have open will spit and hiss at you for a moment or two and then the water comes out. So shut that tap and open then cold tap at the same place, once that is running move to the next set of taps and open each one of those in turn once you have done this the system has water in and you should be up and running.
If that does not work, just check that the two valves that empty the water system are not open. The one with the yellow lever should be horizontal to be closed. next to it you will find a small round tap that you need to screw down, this one allows the water in the pipes to escape when opened.
If you still do not have water and you can hear the pump running then it is time to ring the dealer.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
Thanks for all the help - it was collected brand new last week so had no water in it to freeze - next time out will he new year so hopefully will get it going :-)
Sounds like the problem we had the first time we used our current 'van. Problem was that the Whale filter wouldn't sink properly and every time a tap was opened it sucked in air. It took ages to solve the problem, as the filter looked like it was submerged - but just broke the surface when the pump was running. This has happened since - even though we try everything possible to purge any air from the filter and pipe before connecting to the 'van. We now have a weight attached to the filter pipe. Saves a lot of frustration!
I'm kind of new to Caravans, but one thing I've found with water pumps is when the battery is at low charge, it will just make a noise and produce little water.
Just wondering if the battery needs charging up? I know it's a new van, but thought I'd suggest it anyway.
Nothing very genteel! Ours is a water inlet deck fitting for a yacht - that didn't get used. Fits over the hose but not over the filter. Keep meaning to find a nice glass napkin ring or something. Anything heavy and non toxic that you can cable tie to the hose would do.
possibles, drain open /,pump switch not switched on /.airlock in the pipe, add the pump to water first before plugging into van, / 12 volt switch not switched on / pump stuck due to non use / flat battery / water frozen in the pipes after testing and not drained at dealers / non return valve stuck / pump burnt out due to no water in barrel / not waiting long enough for the air to leave the water heater and taps / pressure switch turned off.
