Hi having been told at the NEC last week that Bailey Pegasus no longer need the body bolts
checking on 3rd service i sent an email to them and the reply come back to confirm this.
i was also told to watch out for dealers still charging for checking the bolts and not doing them. do not get caught.

I'd check with Bailey on this for your model. I don't question Cabson12, but maybe the loss of requirement is specific to the current revised generation of Pegi onwards and your's may well still fall into the need.

Are they saying ALL Alu-Tec vans, even the original ones or is it just models made after a set date which don't need the bolts re-torquing? I don't see why the original Alu-Tec caravans suddenly stop needing this carried out. I'd have to ask my dealer about this because, how I see it, if a caravan needed this work doing when it was built and nothings been done to alter it, surely it still needs the work.

The work was initially described as precautionary, presumably after examining several they have found it to be unnecessary... and decide to discontinue the practice.
