I have seen a new porch awning I would like . It is on offer. But after measuring and re measuring , I think it will cut my back window in half. I don't mind not being able to open it . Ut will it matter. Damage the window.
If my door opened the other way I wouldn't have a problem. But it doesn't.
It is a fixed bed so the door is to the front end . I only have a small space between door and front window. Then it needs to either go the door side of the back window or cover the back window.
I would like the traditional awning ( bradcot ) .
Should I just buy one that is half way across the window. Has any one done this.
I have the same problem. I put cling film on the window, does the trick all season, I leave the porch awning up all winter,as am on a seasonal pitch, and need storage space.
------------- Roughing it in style at Calloose caravan and camping holiday park nr St Ives.(seasonal pitch)
Its not a hangover, its wine flu!
I have a Bradcot porch awning but i had a problem with it on my new van. It was quite windy on our trip and unfortunately the awning has scuffed our window on one side and scuffed the decal (is that what it's called?) on the other side. To be honest I may only use the full awning from now on.
