This has probably been covered before so apologies in advance! When draining/emptying my toilet flush, (thetford c 200 i think?) you have to remove the rubber stopper to release the fluid. This is when it goes all over you and the toilet compartment! Is their a modification/way round this?. My previous van han a fold out tube with a yellow stopper on it to drain down with ease!
Thank's Mark.

I've seen a modification by a friend of mine, who uses one of the black adaptors from an air bed, pushed tight into the hole, (remove the bung altogether), then a piece of plastic tube fastened on to that with a small cable tie.

Another mod, which my local caravan workshop uses, is to take one of the nozzles from a tube of silicon or sealant, trim to size and push in to the hole tight when draining the top tank.

I just take the cassette out to give me a bit more space and then put a small container under the outlet to drain the fluid into. When it stops flowing I blow into the inlet hole and get another load of fluid into the container, I have to be careful with the position of the pot when I do this as otherwise the fluid goes all over my trousers and makes me look incontinent.

You're welcome Mark - Just remembered I've seen this:

http://www.thetford-europe.com/en/about-thetford/news/2011/improved-draining-solution-for-c250-cwe.aspx

but it may not be for your exact model; worth checking though.

Regards,

Al.

i use a tube made by myself.the pointed plastic bit from an air bed pump connected to a rubber tube just pushes into the hole asap after removing the rubber plug.place an old towel inside to catch any stray water.
