17 So we put the caravan in to winter storage yesterday and i've already got withdrawal symptoms after having spent the last four weeks in it touring the west country.

So to cheer myself up I'm planning next summer's holiday. I want to tour Scotland for 3 weeks, any one like to recommend any sites to stay at or particular islands to visit whilst we're up there?

Not sure about current sites, but do visit Gairloch. Beautiful surroundings and beach.

I'd go to Kintyre, it's a lovely place, with day trips to Isla and Gigha. Mostly midge free as well! Planning something along these lines for next year and can't wait! You could come home via Arran.
