hello how can i work out the tyre pressures on my twin axle i have no manual so carnt check on their help please ?????

I'd ask at your local caravan dealer or tyre company if I were you razzmick. Ours is a single axle with 185/14 tyres & the pressure of 51psi is printed on the sidewalls but yours could well be very different due to it being a twin axle.

If you post your tyre size you stand a good chance that someone on here will have a twin axle van with the same size tyres on it & they might reply.

Sorry for the above blank post, had a senior moment.

Razzmick our twin axle had tyre preasure of 32psi, twin axle's have very much lower  preasure's because the weight is spred over 4 wheels, but check with your dealer to be sure.

depends on tyre size and type (ie.ply) and caravan weight.

You can find the load rating and max. pressure from the tyre sidewall.

Ours is 82 - so that is 475Kg per tyre (1900Kg for all 4). Max pressure on ours is is 44psi. Our MTPLM is 1750, so the formula would be 1750/1900 = 0.92 x 44psi = 40.50 psi.

Our manual says 36 psi though.
