mission impossible at the moment.already dropped the price 500 pounds cant really afford to drop anymore(this was the 500 haggling price I was going to use)
had interest but theyre either wanting it for for buttons or the like one couple, loved the van but thought it was a bit on the big side for them.
already lost out on 3 other vans i was interested in so far.
fed up now, must be doing something wrong

Fife, I know exactly how you feel, if your remember I put a post up I just couldn't sell ours, we had the chancers, the stupid offerers, and the scammers, we decided that we had had enough, and in the end sadly chopped it in at the dealers, as they had a van that we really liked and wanted, we did actually get more for it from them than some of the offers we had from private people and was surprised with what they did give us.
I don't know what else to say, but I do know how fed up it can make you, especially if you've seen another van you've set your heart on or like, everything does sell eventually, if you are patient but patience can wear thin.
Keeping everything crossed it will sell for you soon x

i remember your post murano shocking what people will try.
ive looked at all the dealers and they all have a van that is what Im looking for (6 berth with fixed bunks)but the prices compared to what i would get trade in are too high.Im not wanting to take finance as frankly i cant afford it.we have our fleetwood and 2.5 k to spend on our next van,I doubt a dealer would accept that tbh

I totally understand where you're coming from, if it wasn't for a small family inheritance we couldn't of gone to the dealers, like you we wont do finance and the loss would of been to much, I do really hope it sells for you soon, it's a pain up the back side, when you've decided it's time for it to go, you mentally prepare yourself, and then you get the idiots trying it on, it makes you so cheesed off.
Keep trying everything sells in the end x

well went to a few dealers today, best deal i can get trade in is 2800 with the awning or 2700 without.so that gives me max 5300 to buy a qood quality 6 berth from a dealer.
aint going to happen Im afraid.
carry on advertising it for the time being

Im having the same trouble, our dealer offered us 4000 for our van which we paid 7500 for only a year ago, and then openly told us they would still advertise it for 7500.
I have paid 70.00 to advertise it on caravan finder and auto trader, and to date we have had nothing, and like you guys have dropped the price to what we think acceptable to what we are offering.
Ive found a 6 berth that we like, so going to take ours along on Saturday to see what this dealer will offer us, I expect a ridculous price I expect which will mean we wont be able to change :(
So fife-bloke if your doing something wrong, then so am I!
None of you are doing anything wrong lol, it's just rubbish out there , I've noticed though the older vans sell well, I don't think the money is out there right now, and the weather this year hasn't helped.
I know how horrible it is. It's frustrating, especially when you see vans you like.
I'll be keeping everything crossed you both sell soon :)

Thanks Murano, Ive just looked on the dealers website who we were going to look at an avondale 6 berth only to find they dont do part exchanges they do a caravan brokerage scheme where they sell it on your behalf :(
Oh :( a lot seem to be doing that, do they take a big cut for doing it?

Might be worth seeing if they can sell it for you, obviously they'll take their cut, but it won't be as harsh as if the bought it off you, hope you get a favourable response x

we sold our twin wheeler earlier in the year, auto trader local press and a couple of web sites and never got a call we put it on ebay as a classified add think it was £16 (might be wrong but it wasnt a lot) and sold it in a week we got quite a few calls about it as well
