I have heard of cheap vans and FC's being advertised cheap on eBay before - always in Scotland? Always seem a bit dodgy when you enquire?

Not in the market personally, but my neighbour has one the same, he showed me this earlier today. Bit too cheap for what it is methinks!

this has been going on with folding campers for a year or two ,.there must be some that fall for it otherwise they wouldn't keep on

HERE is the thread I started about Folding Campers. I still have a look, but it seems to have quietened off. They've maybe moved on to caravans.
Classic signs - new member, cheap price, out of the way location (usually Scotland), price includes delivery.

If the seller requires payment without allowing viewing of caravan then its a scam, simple as that. How anybody could fall for that, I really don't know.

When things look too good to be true then they usually are. This has very little info on the seller and the pics are from someone elses advert added to a price that is very low has the making of a scam to me so would steer clear. The seller says you can email for further info so asking for the cris number so you could check it out would not be unreasonable to ask for. Should they give you it to check out and it comes back with the all clear then someone could well end up with a bargain. I hope that the 1 bidder who has put a offer in does not part with cash untill they have fully checked it out....  17

I was looking at a hobby caravan on ebay last week, really cheap, owner emigrating And also in scotland. I may be wrong and it is probably genuine. But it was half price of similar vans and no bids or offers. I would of bought it but at 23 feet long the wife would have spotted it on driveway .
