For the last six years I've been using a Nemesis wheel clamp, built like a battleship and weighs just about as much. Anyone recomend anything a little lighter and considerably easier to get on and off.. With the Nemesis there are three seperate operations to attach or remove and it is beginning to get more than a chore.
So, if anyone can sugest a different type that may be a little easier I would be grateful............Mick

We changed to one of these:-
http://www.caravanaccessoryshop.co.uk/product/trailer-wheel-clamp-8-10inch/2781
From one of these - [we gave it away].
http://campervanaccessories.co.uk/milenco-wheel-clamp-caravan-wheels-twin-axles-p-1042.html?osCsid=afa730d800c887007d49d5216090d5d4

Same reason as you Mick very heavy and could be really difficult to fit. Needed a large board for a base to enable removal.

Slight problem fitting new clamp due to Motor Mover rollers - it has to be put on at an angle. However it is much better for us 'Oldies'.

Many thanks for the comments and recomendations everyone. That's all very helpful and looks I'll be spending some pennies shortly. A good excuse for yet another trip on a Saturday afternoon to the local emporium.
Minesapint, you are so right about the full stop Nemesis, great if the van is going to stand for a long period, but I can't be doing with keep putting it on & off....Mick

We use the

https://www.purpleline.co.uk/products-samurai.php

which will fit pretty well any wheel.

It doesn't cover the wheel-bolts, but it could be used with a locking wheel-bolt if you want the extra peace of mind.

It weighs 4.3 kg.
