Has anyone got a 2008 Lunar Quasar 4 berth Caravan thatthey can give any advice on. We are looking at one tomorrow with the hope of buying it. It comes with a motor mover and an Isabella minor porch awning.
We've got the exactly the same van and have had no problems with it, or damp. Lunar did have a bit of a bad name a few years ago when production when abroad, but these days are seen as one of the brands most likely not to leak and with good reason.
Worth checking for damp with any van though and seaking assurances.
Sorry to add, worth knowing, I think that the Warruntee's for Lunar became transferable in 2009 from memory. So in purchasing a 2008 van, you will miss out on this.
However, the last time I checked this fact out was 18 months ago, so not sure on the current situation.
Just bought a Lunar Quasar EB 2006 complete with motor mover. Hired a damp meter and it found nothing. It also came with a Dorema awning, yet to find out what model. Cannot wait for next weekend and we are off

Ooh congrats, when we were looking a few weeks ago for a FB van we saw one, and thought it was lovely, we went for the swift in the end, but it was close, the lunar had the comfiest matress though, have fun

Thanks for all your replies. We bought the Lunar Quasar and it is great. We are actually away in it at the moment staying in Bagwell Farm. We have yet to put our porch awning up, maybe tomorrow. Should be fun!!!
