On my last visit to a site i went into reception to tell the owner i had some feedback on their site. I could see the panic in her face!

I told her what an amazing stay we had had and that we would definitely be back

Note, I'm not a site owner of have anything to do with a site but here's a thought....

if you would go out of your way to complain about something, its also good to go out of your way to say "Thank you"

Too true Paul, it has to be a good feeling for them to receive a compliment and that compliment can only have good results to the next and following customers.

Well done you for the reminder as I would not and have not thought about it much. Although I did write about Polstead camping & caravan club site as one we enjoyed, and was well looked after.

But not enough, so need reminder. Ta

I have always made a point of saying thank you when I have enjoyed a stay.

TBH I have even said thanks if I have had a bad experience especislly if explained in a pleasant manner.

I have to admit the look on some peoples faces when you do say thanks can be priceless - some are obviously not used to it.
