Hi folks

ALL THE LOCKS WERE SMASHED OFF AND DRAGGED DOWN FROM MY TOP ORCHARD. WE ARE DEVASTED FOR MY SISTER AND HER FAMILY AS ITS THEIR CARAVAN THAT HAS BEEN STOLEN..................AWAITING FOR THE POLICE TO COME....................
..IVE JUST BEEN AND CHECKED UP THE ORCHARD AND NOTICED THEY HAVE DROVE VERY QUICKLY DOWN AND KNOCKED SOME BRANCHES OF THE TREES "IT WILL HAVE LOTS OF SCRATCHES ON THE ROOF AND OFFSIDE"
I went to work at 9.30. Hubby left at 10am...Anne and Bruce saw a Black Rover (we have the reg no)...they had to open the GATES...when Anne and Bruce came back over only a few mins...the Van and Car were pulling out the drive heading towards GAINSBOROUGH
it has a tracker fitted, all CRIS registered, Alarm was active!!!!!!! .We have also noticed that they had ENOUGH TIME TO OPEN DOORS AND HAVE A LOOK AROUND THE OUTBUILDINGS
The car is a dark BLUE ROVER it has no insurance, no registered keeper on the Police Records....but at least it can be traced!
Just been informed that the caravan is a Robinson's special. Only available from their branch in Worksop and Chesterfield. Thus making it very rare!! It has a Robinsons sticker on the back of it.
Hi, it's my parent's caravan that was stolen. It was taken from my auntie's house yesterday, which is where we were keeping it at the time. Here's a photo with a few more details:
I'll comment later with the VIM / CRIS numbers and more technical information.
Another thing to note, is that being such a new 'van, it has a 13 pin socket so the thieves may not be able to use the lights in towing until they get an adapter.
We went out looking for it last night, to no avail. We doubt the police will go out looking for it (they'd need a helicopter to find it and I doubt that's within their budget), so it's really down to the public to spot it and report it as suspicious! The alarm was set, but we don't think a tracker was.
The number plate of the vehicle that towed it away (as spotted by a witness), has no registered keeper, no tax and no insurance. Police have it noted down to be tracked by these vehicle recognition cameras positioned all over the country.
Thankyou Denise for starting this thread and raising awareness on here, and thanks Ratty for offering to put details on the stolen page. I'll get the details to you later today.
If you google Lunar Ultima 556, this is the third result!
I'll look into it! We know there was a SIM card fitted, but I'm not 100% sure if my parents activated it. If the number is on any of the documentation, I'll try it!
Thanks Aceselect. We hope we get it back soon too.
Enquired about our insurance and hopefully we'll be able to sort something out with it. We're hitting the local car boot sale on Sunday to see if we can reclaim any possessions left in the caravan...
VIN: SGLS000LUB1022659
If an admin could put the VIN and a summary on the stolen caravans page, it would be much appreciated!
To be honest, you've nailed it right there Gary, the caravan will be absolute wreckage now and even if we get it back, we'd still have to cancel the holiday we've got booked for in nearly 4 weeks time. We're ringing up tomorrow to see if we can stay in a cabin instead, so we can still have a holiday atleast!
They'd definitely deserve that. Everyone I've spoken to believe it's gypsies... Their carelessness with damaging the caravan during the steal along with the other signs points towards it. But police won't even go near the sites so I think all we can do now is hope insurance works out. It's really depressing that this is what society has come to.

Police have photo records of it going up M180 eastwards whilst being towed by the suspected Rover 200/25. This was Thursday 19th at 13:18.
