We have decided to get a caravan as my partner is losing dexterity in both hands & wrists.
We have looked at various ranges & decided that the Freedom Jetstream Twin Sport is the one we want. Does anybody know when this layout was introduced as all the second hand ones in our price range seem to be the First Class layout (with the smaller bed).
Also, any feedback on the Freedom caravans would be greatly appreciated.
Hi
The main dealer is in Staffordshire
Www.freedomcaravans.com
They are really helpful. May be worth a call.
Our first van was a freedom and absolutely loved it, best thing is they don't get damp too.
Good luck in your search

have a look on e.bay quite a few on at the moment with plenty of photo and different models, we have a discovery L pop up and love it, if you can get a decent awning it's a boon as the preparation space is a bit limited, we find it's better to leave the bed made up and do everything in the awning if staying in one place for a while, hope you find one you like

I have called Freedom in Staffordshire & they were extremely helpful but unfortunately don't have a Jetstream Twin Sport in our price range.
We'll keep looking...the right one will come along.
Geowyn, I like the Discovery (from seeing it on the internet) but we wondered if it might be a little small. I'm reassured by your that it's fine with an awning.
Hi,
We have a freedom sun seeker and love it, we are 2 adults, 1 baby and 2 beagles and all fit comfortably ! Agree you ideally need an awning though, we used it to store our wet coats and boots and things, very useful , or just make up the bed and sit in the awning.
