Hi, has anyone ever done an overnight stop here with a caravan. Thinking I might stop here on the way to the isle of wight. I didn't stop last time and drove all the way through but thinking of having a break this time and seeing if I can have some sleep in the van as I can never sleep when I am going on hol at home.

You might want to have a look here No HGV's are allowed at this services and access is quite tight so I am not altogether sure it would be suitable for a caravan. There is another services near the M4 with access from the A34 north of Newbury. What time are you thinking of arriving? Might a campsite not be more peaceful?

How about a CL if you are a CC member = contact for one at Kidlington...... : Mrs B Winters, The Moors, Kidlington, Oxford OX5 2AD

We have often used a CL as a quick few hour stop/carpark having obviously explained to the owner what we intend.

You could try Brugess Farm near Banbury. It it a C & CC certificated site. It's about 3 mikes from junction 11 of the M40
