is it any better to have a pnumatic tyre fitted to the jockey wheel . i have a motor mover but when backing on my very tight concrete drive the jockey wheel seems to have a mind of its own and is difficult to keep true
Had the same problem and the pnumatic tyre made a real difference - far more control; van actually went where I wanted not where it decided to meander!!

I changed mine but it developed a puncture while en-route to Spain, I went out and bougt a new solid one. It did seem to work better though especially on our gravel drive
I was going to change ours for a pneumatic one, but then I read some reports that a solid tyre version was better than pneumatic. Now I'm not sure, so will read this thread with interest.
i have had pnumatic tyre fitted to the jockey wheel but no more,bought a new one from discover.fantastic with the mover in operation.BUT as soon as i hitched up to the car the tyre was stuck under the A frame.a real pig to get it out.not really a height problem as we have a 4 x4.it now resides on the trailer.

On a previous van I installed one and I feel it did make a difference, especially replacing a small diameter wheel. I have not used it on my current van as that came with a much larger diameter solid jockey wheel which is quite good so I have not bother to swap it over.
