OH and myself absolutley fuming when we collected our 2007 caravan from storage this week. The grass around it had clearly been strimmed and the caravan is now peppered with about 10 dents owner not accepting any liability "couldn't have happened when strimmimg and how does he know they weren't already there?!" As OH rightly pointed out we look after our caravan and have always got any slight imperfection sorted (by a highyly recommended company scuffs and stuff!) To get this lot put right to the standard it was will cost a small fortune which we can't afford. So meanwhile my caravan now looks like we don't look after it and will not be as appealing if we wanted to sell it.

Going to have a look around a few more when we take it back and get his son to come and have a look at the damage although he was even less interested than the owner thinks we are just trying it on!!

|The best evidence is the state of other caravans in the immediate vicinity of where yours is stored (if poss).

They can't ALL be owned by uncaring owners.

If there is damage like yours, get snapping and put it in no uncertain terms to the owner of the storage.

If he doesn't budge put it to the Insurance with ALL the evidence.

Surely yours won't be the only one damaged if it was done when they were sorting out the storage area.

One of our friends vans spent quite a few seasons in site storage until they scratched the it very badly and then pinted out that it was down to them. Only thy tow in & only they tow out but any damage was down to the owners. Needless to say they pulled it out of there straight away but the amage was already done.
