Has anyone used a white rope light as an awning light? If so was it any good (how long?).

I was thinking of using a 20m white LED rope light as this will be low energy and it would go the whole way around the awning with a bit to spare, attaching it to the roof poles. But not sure if it would be suitable or bright enough?

It would probably work a treat.

I put Rope lights round my car port at Christmas and they illuminate very well.

I use a 10m rope light plugged in - reaches down centre roof pole and virtually full length of front of awning - in a 17ft van - works a treat!
