Purchased the Dorema Daytona awning from Towsure, when erecting awning , discovered five of the roof pads where missing, also the plastic figure eight for the draught skirt here missing.
Emailed Towsure about the missing items and was told that Dorema does not include these items any more.
Is that correct? what's the point of buying a full awning with out roof pads, or is Towsure fobbing me off.
My week away was ruined, as I couldn't use the awning.
They aren't included our dealer gave us the roof pads with the first awning we had and we had to buy the figure of 8 .It means when we go to sell we will either have to buy more pads or sell them without which is how it comes :(

They come with clips that you can screw to the side of van ,like it said in the list they are extras it clearly states this in the book so they are doing no wrong

Pack of three pads with towsure are £13 so that works out at £26 extra.

how can they be missing when they are listed as extras ,nothing to do with the towsure guy looks like you are going have to bite the bullet and pay for them and then you can enjoy your new awning

We have had two awnings and both of them are dorema. If clearly says that the pads are extra which we were able to buy from from caravan shop. As with any expensive purchase we did our homework and read up about awning before going ahead to buy.
We bought the daytona from towsure last year and it does state that they are optional extras so we bought them from else where. When the awning came the pads were included so we ended up with loads of them!
Please accept my apologies for the confusion, the quick lock pads are an additional extra and we could have offered these at the time of ordering. A failure of our upselling skills on the sales line!!

Once again I am sorry if we caused you a ruined break. If you had let me know I could have expressed them to your site so you would have been without the awning for a day.
