Hello all
Having a problem with our Thetford toilet 250 model
A few week a go we had to replace the reed switch panel at the back of the cassette ( the one that tell you the toilets full) Then all was fine. it also seemed to make the flush pump run quieter but still worked fine
Just been away and found that the flush has stopped, no pump noise, and also the light that tells you the cassette is full has stopped working, checked the fuse in the cassette cabinet and that is fine.
I wanted to try check if there was any power getting to the toilet but wasnt sure where I could check this
Any advice would be great
Thanks
------------- Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't.
In the link below, click on Thetford Sanitation products which will then open a PDF file. On the left click on C250 and it explains about toilet repairs. Also click on the link for troubleshooting as ir explains about non-flush. Hope this helps.
Open door to cassette and just inside bottom right hand corner there is a connector undo this and check if you have volts with meter,if not check fuses in van.
we had the same problem, no little red light to tell you tank is full, no noise at all when flush is pressed, our van went in for a service last week, its not a year old yet so still under warranty, they said the pump was knackered and replaced it, all is good now.
