The Thetord slide out container seems to seep a little from the slide when turned on end after removing it from the van. Also after emptying it and agitating it with some rinse water, it seeps again from the slide blade area.
The caravan / toilet is only a year old but I don't recall my last Thetford on my previous van leaking when full.
The van is in for service next week, is this something I should ask them to check, or is this normal on the later style of Thetford toilet container?
I would get it checked on the service. In all probability it is a seal that needs replacing. If it has done it from new then it may have been incorrectly fitted or if it has only recently started to leak it may be that the seal is either damaged or 'dry' and needs a quick spray of silicone lube. Thetford make a silicone maintenance spray specifically for toilets so it is a known issue.
