hi everyone
just bought a new frame for my awning off the net but when it arrived the corner and centre brackets did not have spikes on them to put the awning eyelets on do i really need these as when i rang supplier he told me that all his frames were like this wish id stuck with camping never ending list of problems

you need the spikes if you have the front flap with eyelets or it will just hang down at the front.does the frame have the three holes to fit the spike pole bits?

hi micheal yes i have the poles with the spikes on to fit the front bit but on my diagram it shows a spike on the corner that should fit the eyelet in the corner of my awning which would tension out the roof that is why i wondered if they were necessary thanks for your reply
