Hi all,
Saw our van last week in the compound in Devon and she's looking filthy and green. We usually winter our van on the drive but since getting rid of our 4x4 have opted to leave it in Devon. My question is, if there is a hosepipe ban when we first use it in May what would you use to clean it with? I'm thinking something like a hand spray and kitchen roll, any ideas please.

Cheers ladies & gentlemen,

Hose pipe was a bit misleading I sought of meant a ban on washing cars etc where by using a bucket and soapy water would get me an ear bending from the locals.

Sorry

could you not pop it to the local jet wash use there brush and tescos ones have a rince power on the jet bit so you dont have the full pressure, as some people dont like jet washing due to chance of damaging sealents.

Although the south west has been included in  the drought area I am not sure that a hose pipe ban is yet in place, unlike our area in the centre/east of the country. It might be worth asking.

Mile solution of wax and wash. Wait until it starts to rain with a heavy down-pore, then quickly go around the van and let the rain rinse it off.

Be careful on the ladder in the rain though.

Did it with the car last year, worked a treat.
