Well we have been away on our first trip, friday 13th, down to Setthorns in the New Forest. There was a nasty caravan accident on the motorway, I felt very sorry for the owners with their lovely van bashed and facing the wrong way.
Our friends followed us in their bigger caravan set up. Almost there our tailights failed, we managed using the side lights as brake lights, and had a look when we arrived. It turned out that the van was blowing them, also blew the neighbours lights when we tried his car. We went out the next day to towsure and bought a tailboard for the journey home. 5 mtres lead wasnt enough for our tiny 12ft van, so we had to buy some additional cable. Luckily the electric hook up power was fine so we had heating etc It was wonderfully snug warm and dry, we had a wonderful couple of days exploring the great paths and open countryside with the dog, came back shattered but happy!
Best purchase so far - a decent set of steps!
