Question is what do I use to lock them?, as they have metal piping on them, padlocks?

We were given long shanked brass padlocks by our dealer. Several years on they are still in the box. Anyone trying to steal your caravan are going to be quite determined. They are not usually stolen on impulse. IMHO Locking the rear steadies is a waste of time as they can be clipped off in seconds, assuming the thief even bothers!
