We are going on our first caravanning trip of year at the weekend, I've been on slimming world now for two months and have managed to loose a stone, so I dont want to ruin that by going off the rails.
Is there any fellow caravanners out there also following slimming world who has got some good tips of food to take.
I dont really want to have to take the kitchen cupboard, salads, pickles, etc
Baby potatoes are quick and handy with beans or some salad! or you could have bbq chicken steak or chops with salad just no bread! Always take savoury rices and pasta n sauce for lunch,. have a big breakie, bacon eggs mushroom beans etc, pretty easy to have the same as others :) not that i always manage to stick to it mind you :)
Couscous is my stand by as so quick and easy for packed lunch.. eggs are usually readily available wherever. Try to be as organised as you can for days out. I always have an Apple in my bag. Join fb group as is handy for tips on the hoof. Well done on weight loss so far.
Could you take a few pickles and beetroot in a little plastic Tupperware container, so you don't have loads of jars, and well done you're done well :) x
------------- "I'm a fool for my dogs"
Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
I usually prepare meals to take with me, like spaghetti bolognaise, chilli etc.
well done on the loss.
on extra easy you have a lot of scope, bacon eggs etc for breakfast salad for lunch and then use the prepared meals that you have done before hand.
keep up the good work.

We always have more salads and BBQ s when we are away.
Also you should have more time to walk and exercise helping to burn calories.
Good luck have fun.
My wife too has a few problems with what to take as she does weight watchers. but as long as you have a good breakfast and plan properly ahead with menus then there should be no problem. There are a lot of calories in alchohol which folk dont take into account, and we all do like a wine with our meals. Rice Pasta and bread will only help if taken in moderation ie very small portions. Better to fill up on plenty of greens and fruit. Cut down on snacking and have a good meal in the evening.
And do plan for the windage on an evening by sleeping with the window slightly ajar!!
------------- How many roads must a caravanner go down before he admits he's lost!
We took mugshots and bachelors pasta in sauces as quick easy to prepare snacks, also Tesco stewed steak in gravy (tinned) is free (on red and EE), warm that up along with some tinned veggies into a stew type (not the best but quick and easy to cook) Eggs/bacon etc in the morning of course :)

I'm in WW and I am about to go off on a 10 day trip in my FC.
I have already made up my menu for the entire trip, I know what food I am taking and where I will buy extra food as I need it.
I have used Google Earth and the Internet to suss out what shops are in the towns closest to my two centre holiday and I know from shopping in other branches of these stores, what I can expect to buy there.
I will also pack some snacks that are allowed with the WW diet, just in case I feel peckish.
And now that that is all worked out, I can get on and enjoy the break without worrying about any unexpected weight gains.
By the by, I have now been in WW for one year and I am losing at one pound per week. That included the 60 nights away in the FC last year so I must be doing something right.
I am taking some home made 12 bean super speed soup. Also cooking a ham. Have you seen the diet coca cola and fanta chicken recipes? They are very good and only need one pan.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
