Got a good deal on this van, from a neighbour who was packing up, 2011 model, been out in it twice , week at a time, and every time we go out in it something breaks? Are vans poorly made or what theses days, as we had a 10 adria for a couple of years no problem? 2 blinds have end caps popped off, rear bed box broke 1mm plastic strip to hold up slatted lid , water pump pipe pulling more air than water, what I ask is can these all be fixed buy dealer or will I have to fork out, seeing as now it is second hand
Hopefully its been serviced and then you should have no problems are is it just coming to its first service? Join Swift-Talk which is run by swift who should be able to advise you
Am I right in thinking the Swift Freestyle is a Lowdhams dealer special?
As for the warranty, I just phoned Swift direct and they put the warranty on our swift van into our name (I thought the dealer had done it,turned out they hadnt). Didnt cost me anything.

Yes that's correct . Is it as simple as that? They will fix everything free of charge? Our will it be a headache ?
I meant changing the warranty over didnt cost anything.
As for repairs, that depends if the service history is up to date and if the problems you are experiencing are covered by the warranty. Only one way to find out Im afraid, check the service history in your van log book and then contact a Swift dealer, might have to be the original one but Im not certain of that.
