Hi Jcb
You could try the scratch removers as already mentioned, or you could go all out and get the very fine specialist sanding cloths, a suitable drill and spend hours 'buffing up' the window, but unless the scratches are severe or really do annoy you then i would just live with them, you could make the problem much worse than it is already if you are not extremely careful.

Hi JCBD, I always use Duraglit, it's very good for light scratches, deeper ones take quite a bit of elbow grease as well.

Hi, I find that it easily removes scratches obtained when driving too close to bushes etc. I've used Duraglit whenever required for the past 6 years and there seems to be no adverse effects. Once you have rubbed the scratch with the wadding, you should let it dry thoroughly and then polish off with a yellow duster. The surface comes up like new quite clear, As I said earlier, deeper scratches need a bit of extra work on them, often a second application the following day is sufficient.

Do you think I could use Fenwicks Scratch Remover as Toothpaste in an emergency?
