We are looking to buy anew caravan. OH went to view a lovely van today. Immaculate inside but noticed the service record shows damp readings last march of 50% at the bottom corner and 40% at the top corner.
Obvious where it came from. It came from under The beading on outside.
Question is. Will it spread if we cure the leak. Will it cause mould. Or can we just keep It as it is.
No smell Slight blue tinge on part of the wall .
Shall we keep well clear or can it be solved

Hard to say without more information. All most all vans will leak at some point in their lives. Some models are worse than others though, so seemingly repetitive problems.
What is the make, model, year and price of the van?
Also, are you a DIY'er, or will you need to pay for future fixes.
with readings that high unless it has been stripped and rebuilt inside it will have done lasting structural damage,
Reading (31 % and above): structural damage is occurring, deterioration inevitable. A full strip-down of the affected area is required.
i walked away from one this week because it had a reading of 20%
just walk away it doesnt matter what it looks like inside its what is happening behind the wallboards that matters,
have you actually checked it properly with a damp meter?
