Thanks all for your kind help in the route from Norwich to North Devon we can not wait, we are hoping to stay at The Exe Valley site for a week at Dulverton, and the onto The Old Oaks at Somerset heard alot of good reports on these two,,,have any of you ever been !!!!.Just unzipped the cover on the van today to let the air in ,all is fine inside and out, so all go....here we come...its nice to have great caravan friends out there..happy summer days
Firstly the comprehensive route directions given to you on the other topic were first class, nothing to add just follow them and you will not go wrong.
The exe valley site is a good site as are the Exmoor house CC Site right in the centre of Dulverton and also the CC Site Lakeside at Exebridge a mile outside of Dulverton. You actually pass this site on your way to Dulverton.
The Old Oaks at Glastonbury is a first class site, I have recently been told by a friend it has been recently refurbished for want of a better word.
If you like walking in the countryside you will not do any better than Exmoor and for eating out there are lovely pubs in the area.
There are some fantastic sites in Devon, try this one close to Newton Abbot

We are there at the moment, and stopped here last year. It is a beautiful site with all the facilities you could wish for, even the dogs have their own shower and dryer! Always a very warm welcome from very helpful staff.
