We ordered the 2010 version of the standard 544, a nice 'van, but for the 2010 model at least the ex works noseweight was 95KG!

It may have changed for 2011 and 2012 but worth checking.

Pity becuase otherwise it was a good 'van ... we cancelled and bought our current Swift instead.

Hi, we purchased a 2011 lexon 540 three months ago from Chi Caravans in Tywford. James in Sales & Trevor in Service both go the extra mile - only suggestion is to buy local as we did. Always a few niggles that require sorting. Drop me a line if you want to know more. Cheers

Actually if i get the right car my wife likes the Lunar Lexon 540 what sort of niggles did you get and we like this dealer Couplands  (Louth) and thanks for the information...

All the following defects/faults were from the factory, so when you receive your van, look hard!  1) where the shower door close against a magnetic strip, the strip started coming away from the bulkhead, required re attaching 2) bathroom door was warped, only noticable when closed, replaced by dealer 3) tension blind on forward hatch didnt stay shut. Adjusted by dealer 4) probably the biggest gripe I had was that the gas locker door didnt fit properly and therefore let water in. Adjusted by dealer, not leaking anymore but the door looks off centre and slightly unsightly.

The fixed bed is a superb option and suits us perfectly, the washroom is better than your average hotel and the overall space throughout is of a similar feeling to being in a tardis, very pleased. Worth finding out if your local dealer has a good reputation tho, as the people at Chichester Caravans near Winchester did a first class job with handling the post delivery issues above.
