Well I have just tried to log into the CC website to check some bookings that I have made a few weeks ago, and found that it had all changed in layout and log in requirements, or rather lack of them, as I tried to use my old password and usual email address, but it will not allow me access to the site.
I then tried registering for their new forum style area and it allowed me to pick a screen name, then told me to use my old password, which I did, but it still wont allow me any access to the main site features that i have come to use and enjoy regularly until this big site change of theirs occured.
Is anyone else having similar problems with this site? My laptop is working fine with other sites I have tried, so i doubt the problem is at this end!

I've not had any problems getting into the new site but it did loose most of my bookings the eveing that i did 're-register'. PANIC! But when i logged in next day, they were all there.! I'm not impressed with the new site though, maybe i just need to get used to it.
BBC Sport (another wensite i use very regularly, has changed too and i don't like that either. But again perhaps i just need to get used to them. I don't want to turn into one of those people against 'change'! Change is good if its for the better.
No probs here either but I did have a bit of trouble finding where to look for 'my bookings' but all was well in the end. I have to agree with Johnks that a menu with more links would be helpful.
Tried the chat room which was hard to get into. Then once in, the next page always came up with a "broken link" window. Went out and tried the same route and it worked. It always seemed to fail first time but work the second time! Not overly impressed with the front page listing the chat threads. This site does it a whole lot better. Still - early days

I had a very similar issue with this site for about a week where I couldn't log out at all so my account was constantly logged in 24/7. I couldn't access the camp site search or the messages forum so I contacted the webmaster for help. My log in was then reset and everything worked okay just for one day then I was back to square one again. The strange part was that I had no issues with any other websites so I contacted the webmaster again several times and was told that the problem was definitely at my end. I downloaded the AVG tuneup software for a fee and it detected hundreds of problems that were finally sorted out. Since then I haven't had a problem and have been able to log in and out and access all on UKCS now. So you may well have a problem similar to mine and it's probably connected to your cookies and temporary internet files that's causing your problem. I'm not saying that it is this but it seems strange that from the replies here, others seem to be having little problems with the CC website.

Suggest you download Microsoft Security Essentials and get rid of all other security software.
It will solve 99% of your problems. Used it for years and never had a problem.
With reference to 'Microsoft Security Essentials' I thought this was an Antivirus software. PC tune up isn't the same as it's not detecting any virus or threats in the system it is eliminating any unwanted programmes and files within the registry etc. I use 'Avast' for my antivirus programme.
Thanks for all your replies, I agree that from what I have seen of the new CC website I still very much prefare the old one!
I did manage to eventually access the website by staying up into the small hours of this morning, when site traffic would be much slower, I even managed to access and register for the forum after a few tries, but its far from easy, and almost impossible during busy times still, although im questioning if this maybe to the high amount of members trying to register during peak times.
The site is in desparate need of better navigation lists, the area that we used quite regular 'my bookings' has dissapeared from the main menu lists on the main page, and its a game of hide and seek going on for most of the main features that were previously easy to find on the old website.
We are hoping that these are just 'teething troubles' and that the CC can make the necesary changes and adjustments to make their website far easier to use by all members.

Funny how 'New Improved' sites are always worse than the old 'tried & tested'.
BT Yahoo have just 're-vamped' their Email pages.
Not happy, and older we are the more we resent change for no good reason.
