We have one and it is really easy to put up single handed. once the awning is fitted to the rail you then just thread the front steel pole through to get the shape to the front and then peg either side of the front out to hold the whole awning upright . You can then do all the refinement to get it sitting as you want it.

You have a good memory Jusy. Yes, we have one and it is the best lightweight we have ever had, by far and we have had a few!! Ours was a 2010 (or may be a late 2009 - can't remember when we bought it now) but it is essentially the same awning (see gallery). Spacious, really good poles, easy to put up. We tend to leave the blinds rolled down all the time on ours (i.e. open). We even fold down the awning with the blinds open. Excellent piece of kit, IMHO.

Kampa have stopped making them for 2012 so if you want one i'd get it pretty sharpish!

I love ours, piece of cake to put up, steady as a rock in some quite "inclement" weather and I usually put it up single handed.

There's a couple of piccies of ours on the our last 2 vans, have a look on my gallery.

(although thinking about it ours must be a 2010 model, not sure how different the'11 is).
