Hmmm... naturally I'd have to disagree with that last statement.. The Discovery 4 is the leading tugger..

Hmmm, we'll have to agree to disagree on that one.
my disco spent more time in bits in the garage than it did on the road...but maybe I was just unlucky.
Each to their own....
...I know a few people who think I'm the spawn of the devil just because I've got a 4x4 (same people I towed out in the snow!!!!!)------------- Rich

Well granted people do like to trumpet about the reliability issues of the past, thankfully I'm ok with my Disco 4 and pound for pound it's untouchable.. Know what you mean about 4x4 thing I used to own a merc.. Horrendous at the slightest whiff of ice or snow..------------- Carpe diem...

Hi Just do it, I agree the Discovery is nice, I test drove one recently when looking to change my Audi Q7, but decided to stay with the Audi so replaced it with the new Q7 model with the 8 speed. Its the best towcar I have ever driven and I have had a few, I could not see how they could improve it but they have! Its also great for the snow and icy roads with quattro drive. Hooked to my Crusader twin axle its the best towing experience ever.

Yeah I do quite like the Q7. Pound for pound on a 3 litre engine it still can't touch the discovery and if it ever came to off road stuff it's just not a contest but I've heard they tow well and ultimately it comes down to personal choice.. Can't all drive the bet tow car can we ?!?! ------------- Carpe diem...
