Looking for some decent stick on lights that we can use in the rear dinette of our Bailey for DD to use to read at night. Bought some "stick and click" led lights from ebay but they are useless. Stuck a couple in the understairs cupboard but not at all suitable for the van.
Ideas anyone? Dont miind paying for something decent. Would like two so can stick one in each rear corner under wall cupboards.

I had no lights on my previous 6 berth Avondale side dinette. I found positive and negative wires nearby and spliced off them and fitted acouple of spotlights. hid the wires in the cupboard they looked very smart. Gopt the lights from Towsure but think you can get LED lights from CAK tanks.

Er, um, puzzled.
Does the 500/5 you have not already have a pair of adjustable reading lights on each side of the dinette, on the underside of the overhead lockers?
My 2007 500/5 certainly has and I felt sure a later model I'd recently looked at had them too.

I use these. They are very bright and are fully directional. They are also can be remote control if needed. I also use one in my wardrobe. They run for about 40 hrs on a set of batteries. I got mine from Costco for £12 inc vat. They still have them there.
wizzo, they look perfect, thanks so much. Unfortunately I've not got a costco card and our nearest ones 30 miles away but googling the spotslights Maplins sell them for for £19.99 and OH drives past their store in Cheltenham everyday.
johnks, looked on the Bailey parts website and they have the same 12v spots the front dinette has fitted for approx £11 each, have asked our local dealer for a price to fit but think its going to be expensive.

Yes the brackets can either be stuck on with the supplied with a self adhesive disc or can be screwed up. The lights themselves clip into the brackets and can be removed so they don't come off in transit.(recommended). I used small self-tapping screws but if using the self adhesive pads make sure you clean the surface with alchohol and leave it 24hrs before you put the lamps in the bracket(I didn't and it was on the floor in the morning(undamaged-phew!)) They are very bright and can also be dimmed and look better than the photos. The have a brushed aluminium finish and don't look cheap!
We fitted extra ones in our last van, got matching ones from our dealer. As said above, really easy to fit, you should be able to pick up a 12v wire in a cupboard and run it to where you want it.
will wait to see what price dealer comes back with but otherwise will go with wizzos lights. Found them on maplins ebay outlet for £19.99 free postage but would like to look at them in the flesh first so will pay a visit to Maplins with the OH.

I used these on the the ceiling because there was no ceiling lights at the rear of the van and I couldn't get a 12v feed without having trunking running across the ceiling. You can clip them out of the bracket and use them free- standing.(say in awning or when going into front locker) They are also good when off EHU.
looks like we'll be getting the dealer to fit the lights to the rear of the van, cost very reasonable and like Jenifer says will be better if it all matches.
