Hii there,
We are looking to buy a new caravan. We like the layout and decor of the sterling Eccles sport 586 2012 model. We also like the special edition, which includes the impala fabric. I am just asking any people out there who have the elite models with the impala fabric, which is quite light. Is this fabric practical? Is it as wipe clean as it appears to say on the website? Does it keep well? Etc. many thanks. Pam

We have a light fabric in our 2010 Bailey and my daughter dropped beetroot on the sofa, it came out with a baby wipe!! Was astounded. No stain to be seen. Very impressed.

A lot of car manufacturers are using this type of fabric.

Having explored swift talk as advised - It seems that most of the fabric is actually chenille, with the dark brown panel of impala, as much as i love the look, I am not too sure how practical it is going to be. It's thrown a spanner in the works, so still deliberating if it is the best van for us. ....... (probably cos the layout is right for us)

We have bought a sterling explorer with the impala fabric ,the salesman gave us a small demo of the impala fabric and it was very impressive .We also talked to a paintseal operative who told us it was very similar to the treatment they use and it is a silicone based treatment

I am gonna take a look at the paint seal thing on t'internet, as most of the fabric is the as per the elite range, ie not the Impala (apart from the brown panels).

We had a look at an elite model today and loved the fabric. Getting excited a bit now, should be ordering it soon - hoping to have the new van before Xmas. Never ever had a new car or caravan before. :-D
