When connected to mains hook-up will the battery charge irrespective of the position of the 12v switch? The van is a 2002 Fleetwood Rhapsody with only 2 settings for the 12v power, on and off (no car position).

On our ranger I believe the battery charges even when the master switch is set to off as long as the mains lead is connected to 240v or we are towing with the car. I think the master switch just isolates everything inside the van from turning on.

Thanks, thats what I thought. Was just concerened that I'd leave the van connected up but not charge the battery.
