Hi all
we have not had our caravan for long & the heating system baffles me either red hot when on through the night or freezing .
we will be away at the weekend & will try to use the electic heaters any body got an idea for the recomended settings to be comfortable.

normaly you set the outer ring to 2000 (for a 10amp supply,& above,1000 for up to 10amp & 500 for a 6amp supply)  the inner ring to 1 to 9 is the room thermostat

on the fire set the blower to auto,this enable to blower to automaticly adjust its speed to the heat output.

I normaly set the stat to 7 for day & reduce to 3/4 overnight

That's about what I do.
Remembering to turn the 2000 down when using other electrical appliances so as not to trip the mains. Not that I've ever done that

Ditto to the above suggestions, I just use the 2000 setting for a start-up/boost for maybe half an hour, then I usually find dropping it to 500 keeps the van stable.
Similar to stat; max 6-7 during the day and dropped to 2-3 overnight.
