Hi just a quick question. I have just bought a full awning for my caravan and was wondering how u manage to get them tight. We put the inlaws up when we were away on their van but it wasnt tight like lots of others we saw. Can anybody give me any advice on this. Thanks

Hi

Go to Leisureshopdirect.com (and many others) and look for awning tensioners.There are a couple of different ones at about £20.

Have to say I dont use one.

I dont use an awning tensioner. I simply hold the moving pole tight close by the tension clamp and push it with my thumb and reclamp. In the evening especially if damp is the best time. Then in the morning it tightens up - job done.
