We got this to try as it was on offer it,s ok but the top tank stuff is green and when you have had pink in all the time its gone a strange kind of grey colour at the moment
hi there,we just bought some from attwolls on offer with a free screen wash,added to tank this morning.havent really noticed any scent from it and as for performance we'll have to wait and see.
We have been using it for over a year now great stuff, it does'nt smell and you only need to carry one bottle.
geoff+emmy, don't understand what you mean "top tank stuff is green" Elsan Organic(I think there's only one) is a deep deep purple colour. We used to use the smelly pink stuff as well.

I use this all the time now. you don't need as much( and does both tanks so works out cheaper!) and it definitely doesn't smell as chemically. I even use it in my tent portaloo because of this. However it is not always easy to get and whilst travelling through the west coast of Scotland, i couldn't get any and had to make do with the other stuff and everybody complained about the smell. Now I always carry a spare. ps it also breaks down everything a lot more effectively so there is hardly any odour when you empty the tank- and that's got to be a good thing !
I wasn't keen on the smell of the Elsan Blue so when it ran out we tried Thetford Blue. We found that when its used for everything it doesn't mask the smell so well & my husband said it was stinky when he emptied it.
I like the sound of Elsan Organic especially if it breaks severything down better & is less smelly when emptying & only one bottle needed.
